What We do...

Preserving the honeybees way of life by building permanent, sustainable hives and providing a protected habitat and offering education services. The Save the Buzz honeybee retreat is located off I-80 in Lyman Wyoming at the JKL Ranch.  It sits at the edge of the wild badlands elevation 6,706 ft (2,044 m) with herds of Antelope surrounding our Bees, with acres of alfalfa that need pollinating.

The Bee culture needs to be top priority in our everyday lives, these tiny little super heroes are vital to the entire world; without them we will cease to exist.  Our goal is a natural balance with our friends through sustainable beekeeping techniques.

Our sustainable structures (BeeShip) will maintain life throughout all 4 seasons, providing a permanent home for our beloved bugs.  This retreat will flourish with meadows of wildflowers and fresh water ponds creating a paradise for the honeybees; our goal is protecting the honeybees from pesticides and the global disappearance of the Bee epidemic.

We are working with other local beekeepers, biodiversity is important to creating super bees that are resistant to mites and the effects of pests.  Providing Education is vital to the survival of the honeybees and tours of the retreat and programs for children will soon be available.

Our Mission

Preserving the honeybees way of life by building permanent sustainable hives and providing a protected habitat and offering education services.

If the bee disappeared off the face of the earth, man would only have four years left to live.
